1. AWS Cost Explorer Adds Natural Language Queries Powered by Amazon Q

AWS. Cost Explorer now integrates Amazon Q Developer’s generative AI to let users query cost and usage data in natural language. Users can type custom questions or use suggested prompts, and Amazon Q returns written insights while Cost Explorer automatically updates charts, filters, and groupings to match. The feature supports follow-up questions with conversational context, works with supplementary datasets like pricing and anomaly detection, and is available at no additional charge in all commercial AWS Regions. 2. SageMaker Unified Studio Adds Notebook Import/Export and Developer Acceleration Features

Amazon SageMaker. SageMaker Unified Studio notebooks now support import/export in .ipynb, .json, and .py formats, enabling straightforward migration from JupyterLab and other notebook platforms while preserving cell types and metadata. The release also adds developer productivity features including cell reordering, custom cell naming for navigation, keyboard shortcuts, and multi-line SQL support with per-statement tabbed results. Available in all Regions where SageMaker Unified Studio is offered. Source

3. IoT Greengrass Component SDK Enables AI/ML Workloads on Memory-Constrained Edge Devices

AWS. A new open-source Greengrass component SDK provides native C, C++, and Rust support for edge device applications, reducing the runtime footprint from approximately 30 MB to under 0.5 MB. This enables deployment of AI/ML workloads on severely memory-constrained devices in automotive, industrial IoT, robotics, and smart building environments. The SDK maintains full compatibility with both Greengrass nucleus and nucleus lite, and is available in all Regions where Greengrass is offered. Source
