1. ElevenLabs Shipped Music v2.5 Through Both the App and the API

ElevenLabs released Music v2.5, its updated music generation model, available in the consumer app and via API. In a blind listening test covering 47,885 comparison pairs, listeners preferred v2.5 over the previous version most often, with the company citing the largest gains in R&B, soul, hip-hop, rock, and orchestral material. The free tier allows five lossless downloads per day and requires attribution; the pro tier allows 400 downloads per month. ElevenLabs says its Music models were trained on licensed stems and music but has not documented the sources, and downloads of tracks that imitate existing artists are blocked.
