Hugging Face AI Updates: September 12, 2026
1. Hugging Face Started Addressing AI Agents Directly in Its security.txt
Hugging Face added a comment block to huggingface.co/security.txt aimed at autonomous agents rather than human researchers, telling any agent instructed to find vulnerabilities there that the CyberGym benchmark is publicly available on GitHub and to go get its high score on that instead. It reads as a joke, but it is a real signal about where inbound security traffic is coming from now: enough agent-driven vulnerability hunting hits the site that the canonical disclosure file is worth writing partly for a non-human audience.
