2. NVIDIA Ships GPU-Native Medical Physics Simulation for Healthcare Robotics
NVIDIA released a GPU-accelerated, open-source Medical Physics Simulation framework within NVIDIA Isaac for Healthcare for developing healthcare robotics. It combines classical physics solvers, including an Endoluminal Simulation Module in general availability for catheter navigation and a Surgical Simulation Module in early access for soft-tissue deformation, both built on NVIDIA Warp and Newton Physics, with generative simulation via Cosmos-H world foundation models, where Cosmos-H-Dreams supports interactive surgical simulation at more than 30 frames per second. The framework targets training-data scarcity, poor generalization, and multi-year development cycles by enabling GPU-scale reinforcement learning and synthetic data generation for rare clinical scenarios.
