1. Grok Imagine Video 1.5 reaches general availability with a faster variant

xAI moved Grok Imagine Video 1.5 out of preview and made it generally available through the Imagine API on June 18, 2026, retiring the earlier preview build. The company also introduced a separate high-speed variant, Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Fast, for the web and mobile apps, which it says runs nearly twice as fast as its predecessor. 2. Grok models become natively available on Databricks Agent Bricks

xAI announced that Grok models are now natively integrated into Databricks Agent Bricks, with the news shared live at the 2026 Databricks Data + AI Summit on June 18, 2026. The integration lets enterprise teams already on Databricks reason over data stored in the Lakehouse without routing it through external pipelines. The move places Grok alongside other enterprise deployment options such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Bedrock. Source
