1. Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Now Available on Vercel AI Gateway

Vercel. xAI’s Grok Imagine Video 1.5 is now routable through the Vercel AI Gateway, accessible in the AI SDK via the model identifier xai/grok-imagine-video-1.5-preview. The model generates animated video from a still input image with synchronized audio in a single operation, and this release adds improvements to audio quality, prompt following, photorealism, face accuracy, and character consistency across extended sequences, along with expanded reference image support and configurable resolution. Developers can chain the model with image generation models to create and animate content in one workflow, and Vercel states the Gateway reflects provider pricing with no markup and no platform fee on inference, including for Bring Your Own Key usage.
