1. Cohere Open-Sources Cohere Transcribe for Real-Time Enterprise Workflows

Cohere. Cohere released Cohere Transcribe, an open-source speech-to-text model it is positioning for enterprise workflows including meeting transcription, note-taking, and large-scale batch processing of unstructured audio. The open release puts Cohere into a crowded field — NVIDIA’s Parakeet, xAI’s Grok Speech-to-Text, and OpenAI’s Whisper families — but with Cohere’s usual enterprise-deployment posture of model weights teams can run inside their own infrastructure.
