1. Amazon Bedrock Adds Cost Allocation by IAM User and Role
Amazon Bedrock. Bedrock now supports cost allocation by IAM principal (user or role) in AWS Cost and Usage Report 2.0 and Cost Explorer. Organizations can tag IAM users and roles with attributes such as team, project, or cost center, then analyze Bedrock model inference costs at the line-item level. Available in all commercial regions where Bedrock is offered. Source
2. AWS Agent Registry Launches in Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (Preview)
Amazon Bedrock. AWS launched a preview of Agent Registry within Bedrock AgentCore, providing a private, governed catalog and discovery layer for AI agents, tools, skills, and MCP servers across an organization. It supports semantic and keyword search, administrator approval workflows, both IAM and OAuth authentication, automatic URL-based discovery from live endpoints, and full CloudTrail audit logging. 3. Amazon OpenSearch Service Adds Managed Prometheus and AI Agent Tracing
Amazon OpenSearch Service. OpenSearch Service now provides native Prometheus integration with live PromQL queries without data duplication, alongside AI agent tracing using OpenTelemetry GenAI semantic conventions. The agent tracing capability lets teams observe how generative AI agents process requests, make decisions, and interact with external systems, which is critical for debugging and validating autonomous AI behavior. Available across 20 AWS regions. Source
