1. Grok Imagine Adds Speed and Quality Generation Modes, Imagine 2.0 Delayed

xAI. xAI introduced two new generation modes for Grok Imagine: “Speed” for fast iterations matching the previous default, and “Quality” for higher-detail, more realistic outputs that generate 4 high-quality images per request instead of an infinite scroll. Grok Imagine 2.0 was delayed “a few more weeks” for additional training, and a “Professional” mode targeting 1080p image and video generation was teased for later in April. Source
