1. Microsoft Launches MAI-Transcribe-1, MAI-Voice-1, and MAI-Image-2 Foundation Models

Microsoft released three in-house AI foundation models: MAI-Transcribe-1 for speech transcription starting at $0.36/hour, MAI-Voice-1 for voice generation capable of producing 60 seconds of audio in one second, and MAI-Image-2 delivering 2x faster image generation than its predecessor. 2. GitHub Copilot CLI v1.0.17 Adds Built-In Skills and MCP OAuth Flows
GitHub. Copilot CLI v1.0.17 introduces built-in skills, MCP OAuth flows with HTTPS redirect URI support, and a faster /resume session picker for large conversation histories. The MCP OAuth addition enables Copilot CLI to authenticate with third-party MCP servers using standard OAuth flows rather than requiring manual token configuration. Source
3. Microsoft 365 E7 Frontier Suite Bundles Copilot and Agent 365
Microsoft. Microsoft announced the Microsoft 365 E7 “Frontier Suite,” a new SKU that bundles M365 E5, Entra Suite, Copilot, and the new Agent 365 platform into a single transactable package.
