Amazon Bedrock expanded structured outputs support to AWS GovCloud (US) regions, enabling foundation models to return consistent, schema-compliant, machine-readable responses for government and regulated workloads. The feature reduces the need for custom validation code and minimizes failed requests by enforcing JSON schema definitions and strict tool specifications. 2. SageMaker Data Agent Adds Cross-Region Inference for Japan and Australia
AWS. Amazon SageMaker Data Agent now supports geo-specific inference for the Asia Pacific (Tokyo) and Asia Pacific (Sydney) regions, ensuring inference requests are processed within their respective geographies to satisfy data residency requirements. The update enables organizations operating in Japan and Australia to use the Data Agent while keeping data within regional boundaries.
