Google launched a major AI-driven shopping update in India leveraging Gemini’s multimodal capabilities, with a Shopping Assistant that processes complex natural-language queries combining product specs, pricing, local availability, and reviews across retailers. For small and medium enterprises, Google introduced Gemini-powered merchant tools that auto-generate product descriptions and lifestyle catalog images from smartphone photos, aiming to bring over 10 million new local merchants to Google Shopping by end of 2026. 2. Google AI Pro Storage Boosted to 5TB Across Updated Subscription Tiers

Google. The Google AI Pro plan ($19.99/month) now includes 5TB of storage (up from 2TB), 300 Thinking prompts per day, 100 Pro prompts per day, and a 1M token context window.
