Google. DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis stated there is “a very good chance” of AGI arriving within the next five years, a prediction he has maintained since 2010. He characterized the impact as “10 times the industrial revolution at 10 times the speed,” unfolding over a decade rather than a century.
